Our Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training prepares graduates for the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP) Comprehensive Exam. Upon successfully passing the exam, graduates earn the credential of Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT), a nationally recognized standard of excellence within the Pilates profession.

Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Program Overview

Earn your National Pilates Certification through our hands-on comprehensive training program. Experience is your knowledge.

What You'll Learn - 

Throughout the program, you'll develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to:

• Adapt the Pilates Method for a wide variety of body types, abilities, and movement goals using the full Pilates apparatus.

• Design and teach individualized Pilates sessions that meet each client's unique needs—an essential skill for building trust and long-term client retention.

• Develop effective cueing, coaching, and teaching techniques to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally with clients.

• Strengthen critical thinking and problem-solving skills to safely modify exercises for common physical limitations, injuries, and movement conditions.

• Understand proper equipment setup, safety, and maintenance to create a safe, effective, and professional teaching environment.

• Teach both private and group Pilates sessions, expanding your versatility as an instructor and allowing you to serve a broader range of clients.​​​

Program Start Date: Wed. 10/7/26

Weekly Schedule: Wednesdays | 2:00–6:00 PM (First 6 Months)

Students meet each Wednesday for four hours of collaborative learning to explore the Pilates Method through the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced repertoire. Weekly lectures include Pilates history, anatomy, movement principles, and special populations, while building the knowledge and confidence needed to become a successful Pilates instructor.
(Virtual attendance may be available after successful completion of the Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced apparatus repertoire.)

Additional Requirements:

• Two 8-hour weekend workshops at Healing Grounds Center (dates TBD)

• Two Pilates EXPOs hosted at Healing Grounds Center (dates TBD)

Tuition: $6,000 (Payment plans available)

Prerequisite: A minimum of 12 hours of personal Pilates practice is recommended prior to the start of the program.
